How About A Fruit Smoothie To Jumpstart Your Morning?

What we eat in the morning greatly affects out performance and productivity all throughout the day. A lotof people these days skip breakfast due to hectic schedules and busy lifestyles. Skipping the most important meal of the day is clearly a big mistake. We need nutrients to recover from the lack of food during sleep and to jumpstart the new day.

Smoothies are great meal substitutes for breakfast since they only take a few minutes to prepare and you can drink them on your way. Drinking a glass or two of a fruit smoothie to jumpstart your morning is a smart way to ensure that you get the essential nutrients your body needs. Here’s a bunch delicious and highly nutritious recipes for breakfast smoothies.   

BERRY NICE BREAKFAST
Berries are known to contain a high concentration of fiber and antioxidant properties.

What you need:
One cup vanilla flavored soy milk
One cup mixed berries
One medium banana
Two tablespoons whey protein powder

Combine all the ingredients and blend well until smooth.

PAPAYA SUNRISE
Not only is papaya rich in Vitamin C, it’s also a rich source of fiber, potassium, magnesium and beta-carotene.    

Two cups seeded papaya, peeled and chopped
One cup chilled pineapple juice
Half a cup milk or milk substitute
Half a cup sliced banana
Four ice cubes
One tablespoon organic honey
Two teaspoons fresh lime juice

Combine all the ingredients and blend well until smooth.

APPLE MORNING STARTER
This high-fiber breakfast smoothie energizes and promotes healthy digestion.

What you need:
One medium or large banana
Two small apples, cut into wedges
One fourth cup raisins or prunes
One cup nut milk or rice milk
One teaspoon organic honey
Two ice cubes

First, blend in the banana, milk substitute, ice cubes, and organic honey. Then add the apples to your desired consistency. Then add the raisins or prunes and blend thoroughly.

FRUITY FIBERS
Take this potent breakfast concoction to cleanse your tummy of unwanted toxins.  

What you need:
One cup orange juice
One cup sliced peaches
One cup whole strawberries
Half a cup sliced bananas
Half a cup pitted prunes

First, you want to soak the prunes in warm water for fifteen minutes. Drain the prunes and let it cool to room temperature. In a blender, mix orange juice with the bananas. Then add the rest of the fruits including the prunes. Blend thoroughly until smooth.

CANTALOUPE TUMMY CLEANSER   
I also place my confidence in this highly potent concoction. This one contains the powerful combination of yogurt, flaxseed, probiotic acidophilus which promotes better digestion.

What you need:
One cup cantaloupe, peeled and cubed
One cup steamed sweet potato, peeled and cubed
Half a cup low-fat plain yogurt
Distilled water
One tablespoon flaxseed powder
Probiotic acidophilus (check the label for dosage)

First, blend in the cantaloupe, sweet potato and yogurt until smooth. Add water to control consistency. Add flaxseed powder and probiotic acidophilus. Blend thoroughly until smooth.  

BERRY CLEAN
Berries provide an excellent source of fiber and they also have effective antioxidant properties.

What you need:
One cup strawberries (stemmed and halved)
One cup blueberries
One cup blackberries
One cup low-fat vanilla soymilk
Half a cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
Three ice cubes

Combine all the ingredients and blend thoroughly until smooth. If you prefer your smoothie a bit sweeter, you can add an all natural sweetener like stevia or organic honey.

What’s about 100 calories and high in fiber i eat with a smoothie?

Probably no dairy, i was thinking toast and some type of topping but the toast i have is 50 calories for 2g of fiber and 4g of protein and this smoothie gives me like 23g of protein already so im just trying to find some fiber. Is 1/2 cup of original fiber cereal plain sound good?
