Anyone have some good smoothie recipes?

Category: Smoothie Q&A

Any kinds are fine. I like strawberry, banana, kiwi, apple, romaine lettuce. I’m also interested in dairy-free smoothies..Thanks!

    Groovy Green Smoothie

    1/2 apple, cored and chopped
1 1/2 cups fresh spinach leaves

    DIRECTIONS

Place the banana, grapes, yogurt, apple and spinach into a blender. Cover, and blend until smooth, stopping frequently to push down anything stuck to the sides. Pour into glasses and serve.

1 frozen banana, sliced (great when bananas start to get too ripe, just toss them with skins into the freezer)
    1/2 cup strawberry yogurt
1/4 (more or less) of 2% milk

Blend and voila ! Tastes better than a traditional milkshake and is much better for you.

It sounds simple but it’s oh so good!

Add frozen banana chunks, low-fat strawberry banana yogurt, skim milk, and splena sweetener if needed. It’s healthy and sooo creamy and yummy! :)

i always go through my fridge every few days and throw the fruit that is starting to go soft into baggies and on into the freezer.

that way, when i want a smoothie, i can just grab them out of the freezer and they’re ready to go.

i also add yogurt, honey, and a little ice plus some fruit juice- pulse and go.

if you don’t want dairy in your smoothie, just add fruit juice, honey or sugar (i dissolve it in water first). plus- i LOVE sparkling water in my smoothies. gives it a nice little kick of bubbles without being too sweet.

you really don’t need recipes for smoothies- just add any fruits and veggies that sound good, plus juice, sweeteners, flavor (like ginger or mint), and go!
