I usually use plain or vanilla yogurt as a base. I find using ice cubes sometimes makes it runny, so you can try either freezing juice in an ice cube tray to use or use frozen fruit. I use either bags of frozen berries I buy at the store or when I go berry picking in the summer I freeze some just for this purpose.

Here is what I usually use in mine:
    vanilla yogurt
frozen mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries)
    a banana
    splash of orange juice

You can use other fruits you like or have around the house, but I like the way these work together. You can also use flavored yogurt if that is what you have in the house.

    Hope this helps!

This helped me lose 160lb. in a blender crush ice, add your fav. drink mix like choc. milk / strawbery milk mix. I used lean body vanilla powder mix and whey fat burnner mix. add milk, about half way and blend, now this is what makes it taste great if you’re not worried about cal. add you fav. scoop of ice cream, I used frozen yogurt and plain homemade vanilla ice cream. blend til smooth. you can also put any thing you want into it after all it is your smoothie try some fresh fruit like banannas and strawberries or orange and kiwi. mix and match until you find something that floats your boat. I hope this helps

You can always cheat and do what i do when i don`t actually buy a smoothy, which is to buy pure fruit juice of your choice,i usually buy pineapple, add really ripe strawberries and generous helpings of Greek yogurt.

    I agree. smoothieweb.com is good.

When I make mine at home I use a sorbet. You can find them in with the Ben & Jerry’s. You can also usually find sorbet popcicles. I use them because it’s already premeasured & they have a variety mix with lemon (my fav.) strawberry & mixed berry

    1 sorbet popcicle
1 cup frozen fruit (your choice)
3/4 cup fruit juice or lemonade
Blend – if you don’t like the consistency change the amount of liquid (I like mine a little thicker. My wife likes hers really runny add 1 cup of juice instead of 3/4)

    Strawberry Smoothie:
    Makes 8 servings
    Essential Equipment: Blender
    Ingredients:
    *4 cups strawberries
    *2 cups milk
    *4 containers strawberry yogurt

    Directions:
    1. Reserve 4 strawberries for the garnish. Cut out the hull. ‘or “cap”, from the remaining strawberries w/ the point of a paring knife.
    2. Place the strawberries, milk, and yogurt in a blender. Cover and blend on high speed for 30 seconds or until it’s smooth.
    3. Pour mixtures into glasses. Garnish each with a strawberry
(Add sugar until it’s sweet enough for you)

    *Hope This Helps*
