    * 2 cups fresh or frozen red raspberries
    * 1 cup nonfat or 1 percent milk
    * 3 Tbsp. red raspberry preserves
    * 4 ice cubes
    * 2 scoops plair or vanilla soy protein powder*

    Combine ingredients in blender. Cover and blend at high speed for about 1 minute.
    Makes 2 servings.

    *Soy protein powder is available at health food stores everywhere. Be sure to pick a product that says “Supro” on the can. Avoid powders that contain chromium picolinate.

    sure you can just simply add raspberry and milk however as raspberry can be really tart (sour),from experience, if you throw in the fresh raspberry with the milk .. the milk will curb ( cos of the high acidity of the raspberry ) .. .. it is best to coat it with sugar and set aside first …. this allow the raspberry to “soften” and remove most of the tarty taste …add ICE to have it cold!

    best smoothie I had was milk with plain ice-cream and frozen raspberry all blend together…. WOW .. this is heaven…

    sure … add some ice cream, if you have it. In fact, I’d use raspberry yogurt instead of plain, so buy some next time you’re at the store. Flavored yogurt, to match the fruit you’re using, is even better than plain…..

    You can use whatever you want or have on hand. Use milk! dont forget the ice! Try making a strawberry smoothie sometime with some strawberry milk! Num num!

    If all you use is rasberries and milk, it won’t taste very good. It will need sugar (you can use fruit juice) and a cup of ice cubes for chilling down the drink and to thicken.
