I just found this recipe and now i’m hooked on it.

    Get a blender and add:
    1/2 a banana
    1/2 cup of cranberry juice
1/2 cup fat free yogurt (any one works but i like strawberry)
    1/2 cup frozen mixed berries

Trust me it’s awesome and healthy :-)

    when i make a smoothie i like to use…
-frozen fruit (mango, strawberries, blueberries, peaches, cherries, raspberries too but i found they make it bitter and seedy…there are a lot of choices pick your favorites my favorite combo is mango and cherries!)also you can add just regular bananas(not frozen!) with the frozen you don’t need to add ice and it will keep better in the fridge

-yogurt(fat free or reduced for your diet and use a flavored one like strawberry or vanilla…plain makes it taste bitter)

-a splash of orange juice or other juice or skim milk.

-Note- using the frozen fruit makes it really thick…which is good too!

-You kinda just have to experiment with the measurements and different kinds of fruit HAVE FUN!!!

    mango ripe
    strawberry
    lime juice
    sugar
    ice cubes
blend all fruits and sugar together and serve chilled with ice

I’ve made almost all of these for my daughter’s bday party and for my Girl Scouts. They are all delicious! I think it adds to the flavor/texture because you use frozen bananas, pineapple, etc. The Pina Colada Smoothie is my absolute favorite.

take any fruit you have in your house and throw them in a blender and enjoy.

if you want to add a liquid add skim milk or water or nonfat yogurt or even some sorbet.

for sugar use splenda or honey.

my favorite smoothie is either strawberries and banana with fat free milk, or melons (watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe, etc)

with fruits or even vegetables, the options are endless. google some recipes (low-fat, low cal). good luck

I don’t like ice in my smoothies (it seems to water down the taste), so here’s my “100% fruit” smoothie recipe:

Go to the freezer section of your supermarket and buy 1 or more bags of I.Q.F. (individually quick frozen) fruits; I usually get strawberries, raspberries, and pineapple. Throw about 2/3 c. fruit pieces (still frozen) into your blender and add enough orange juice (Tropicana Pure Premium is great(!) to cover. Puree well. You won’t need to add ice because the fruit is frozen. Bon Appetit!
