David has the most mind opening information
that it’s easy to be skeptical. But, you know what? I’d rather eat earth foods than processed
    food.

    I’m with you

  17. DarthVaygr on December 28th, 2008 12:14 am

I’m curious where he learned this stuff about cosmic energy and mushrooms from outer space. I’m open to learning about it but still skeptical. “Open skepticism.”

Go to Wikipedia ‘control of fire by early humans’

  19. ToolsnFire on January 2nd, 2009 12:22 pm

…and healing problems with human vegan raw food diets, or just vegan, though with cooked too. Yes, the paradise of Genesis would be a lovely existence, I know….

  20. ToolsnFire on January 4th, 2009 10:01 pm

Any food can be bad when inappropriately consumed, such as excessive quantity. The healthiest modern humans I’ve known and seen, more or less, eat moderately/reasonably, and live a fairly physically active life; cooked food is a fundamental staple. Raw fooders have their problems, as I’ve mentioned with bone loss, dental problems, skin problems, digestive problems, more or less, depending on the circumstances.

  21. exxodus29 on January 5th, 2009 9:42 pm

Ok, well that makes sense. But I still say the raw vegan diet is the true way to experience ultimate health. I feel the more bad things you put in your body the more the body will crave those things. I realize in some situations, famine for example, people have to do what they have to to survive. But as long as I have a choice the complete raw vegan diet is what I’ll be living on. Thanks for explaning.

Balance is whatever it takes to thrive, reasonably speaking. From what I can tell, the raw food culture(typically vegan) of today is a new system of eating for humanity. It’s good. All the power to it to become the status quo. However, be mindful of what the body may demonstrate it needs, that may not be keeping in line with the usual raw food partyline. Plenty of people can vouch for that. Even DWolfe mentions 80% raw being very reasonable and correct for a lot of people.

  23. exxodus29 on January 6th, 2009 3:25 pm

This is the second time someone stated that it’s all about balance. Will you please explain to me what do you mean by balance? As I said before you can have balance in the diet without eating a morsel of animal flesh or toxic processed or cooked foods. So please explain to me what do you mean exactly by balance.

  24. Goingvert on January 8th, 2009 4:43 pm

The points you make all make sense, I’m very well aware, but it doesn’t pan it out in the reality of living as Homo sapiens in many circumstances. The eating of animal flesh and products is and has been fundamental in being human, world wide, for eons. But of course one can live without ‘tangible’ animal products in this day and age. And, eventually, depending on circumstances, ‘nature’ rears its head and makes things clear with ones body. It’s about balance.

Back when the natives had this land is a completely different time than it is today. And it’s not just the physical aspect of eating meat it’s also the psychological aspect. If you were to drive through a cow pasteur and see a dead cow I’d guarantee you won’t begin salivating. The stench alone would send you into convulsions. Now a true carnivore will dive into it head first, devouring the guts and maggots and bones. I don’t know about you but I’d rather enjoy a slice of watermelon anyday.
