mmmm…smoothies are the best thing ever!

Em…if the smoothie is just for you (1 person) than I would use:

    3 Cubes of Ice
2 scoops of frozen yogurt (if it’s not frozen yogurt just put in a pot of it)
    A handful of blueberries
    Handful of raspberries
About 5 strawberries (with the green bit taken off)
    Half a banana
    About 10 grapes
As much watermelon as you like (it doesn’t have a strong flavour)
    1/4 of a pineapple
    A dash or orange juice

Put all that in a blender and whizz until it’s all broken up (the ice will make a loud noise, be warned)

If it’s too watery add more banana or yogurt

If it’s too thick add another dash of orange juice and blend for another minute.

well you could do one with Bananas and strawberries. Use half a banana a half cup of thawed strawberries (if they are frozen you will have to use alittle less ice) 1/4 cup of sugar a couple 2 spoon fulls of yogurt, a 1/2 cup of water, and about a cup of ice.

Also one of my favorites that i used to make at work ( I worked at a smoothie place) the Peanut Butter & Jelly smoothie! you need 1/2 cup of straw berry, a splash of grape juice, and 2 icecream size scoops of peanut butter, so about a little more then a 1/4 cup, 1/2 cup of water, and about 1 cup of ice.

    Enjoy : )

    Mixed Fruit and Caramel Smoothie

    * 3/4 cup Frozen Fruit Mix (strawberries, mangos and pineapple)
    * 1/4 cup frozen blueberries
    * 1/2 cup light soy milk (plain)
    * 1/2 cup water (or mixture of water & ice for a thicker smoothie)
    * 1 oz Sugar Free Torani Caramel syrup
    * 3 packets Splenda
    * 3 tablespoons Cool Whip Free

Put everything except the Cool Whip in the blender and blend to desired consistency. Top with cool whip. Enjoy.

    Raspberry & Strawberry Smoothie

    .5 cup raspberries, frozen
    .5 cup strawberries, frozen
    .25 cup pineapple juice
    1 cup milk

Put all ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth.
    Makes 1 serving

    Fruit smoothie

    1 cup nonfat plain yogurt
    5 fresh strawberries
1/4 of a fresh pineapple (or about 1 cup chopped)
    4 ounces orange juice
    1 cup ice

Add all ingredients into a blender and puree untill smooth. Makes 2 servings.

If you like a sweeter smoothie, add 1 splenda or a tablespoon of sugar

If you have extra- freeze it as a popsicle!

My sister doesn’t follow recipes but kinda makes it up as she goes… But one really yummy smoothie recipe is:

1 1/2 cup of thawed out strawberries
1/2 cup of crushed ice (your preference)
1/4 cup of orange juice or yogurt
    1/2 of an orange
    3/4-1 cup of pineapple

I don’t know if you’ll like it but I loved it!
