Category: Smoothie Q&A
I usually put 3or4 banana’s, a thick cut from a pineapple, 1or2 peaches, 1/2 a mango, low fat natural bio yoghurt, about 10 ice cubes and a drop of water. also I sometimes swap something for either loads of strawberries or a papaya. Will it be doing me good or am I putting too much in, I am having these instead of breakfast and sometimes one later on in the day. Absolutely gorgeous though.

You’re getting a good supply of fruit. That can’t be bad for you. If you have one later in the day though make sure you’re eating other food as well, i.e. carbs, protein, etc.
I wish I had a smoothie. I love veg but don’t eat enough fruit. Actually, why don’t you try veg later in the day instead of fruit. Just a thought.
well at least you are making them yourself. some of the store bought ones are super high in sugars and calories. if you get 5 a day with them nothing wrong with it you still get your nutrients and everything id keep doing it as long as you like them and only put in fruit and water
That does sound super yummy but that is a super large amount of fruit.
standard for a diet seems to be 1 cup.
here is a site though that has lots of wonderful dietary smoothies and other people who love them too.
