Well, first of all, i don’t think that a watermelon smoothie would do very well, it would probably just get gross and smushy, especially if it has seeds.

You can make a smoothie with yogurt, ice, and fruit.

Just guess how much to add based on how much you want and how much fruit you think you will add to it. Good luck with making smoothies!

    Banana Smoothie

Made with yogurt, this drink is both refreshing and nourishing. To tell when a banana is ripe, look for tiny brown spots, called sugar spots, on the peel.
    Ingredients

    1 ripe banana
    1/2 c. nonfat yogurt
1 tbsp. sugar (or to taste)
    1 tbsp. banana liqueur (optional)
    1 c. crushed ice
    1 tsp. fresh lime juice
lime wedge or banana slice, for garnish
Combine the first 6 ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour the smoothie into a large glass and garnish with a lime wedge or banana slice. Serves 1.

When I make smoothies I usually use sliced frozen banana, strawberries and yogurt. If my bananas weren’t frozen I’d add ice because you need something to give it that cold, icy feel. Apples would have to be chopped up into tiny bits (in the blender) – I don’t think I’d use them but you could add apple juice.

To make it, all you have to do is put the ingredients into a blender and puree. For a strawberry watermelon smoothie you can combine the fruit in the blender but I’d add either crushed ice or bananas (frozen or not – to add ‘body’ to it).

Sometimes it’s a trial and error until you get it right. Have fun!

Frozen fruit works best for me,like frozen strawberries. Then I usually add milk, but juice works too.The frozen fruit makes it thick.Just put in the blender and blend. You don’t have to use yogurt.
