I want to make a smoothie, but I don’t have many ingredients?

Category: Smoothie Q&A

All I have is a blender, ice cubes, a couple pineapple slices, a few oranges, vanilla yogurt, and strawberry banana and acai berry mix v8 v-fusion juice. How can I make a smoothie with this stuff?
I have never made a smoothie before.

chop the hard fruit up into smaller pieces, put everything in the blender, and turn that baby ON!
and if you can track down some ice cream all the better.

Well…try a mixture of the vanilla yogurt, ice, pineapple OR oranges (whichever one sounds better to you, because both probably wouldn’t be the best taste. lol), some milk and if you have any–sugar. :)

Blend it and tell me how it turns out :)

Toss everything in the blender & buzz until the ice cubes are throughly blended, serve in a tall glass with a straw.

With the ingredients you mentioned, it’s going to be very yummy! :)

    Enjoy

Best bet would be to freeze the cut-up fruit and use that and as little ice or none if possible so you don’t get a watered down flavor. Use the juice and yogurt and frozen fruit and you’ll have a nice consistency smoothie!

I usually use frozen fruits so if you could pop the pineapple slices in the freezer, you wouldn’t need the ice, and the taste is less watery. Throw everything in there and it will be delicious. that’s the best part about smoothies.
