I love smoothies from a local cafe. I get frozen strawberries, frozen raspberries, and pineapple mixed with ice and yogurt. Is this low calorie? Is it ok for a snack?

I know you are gonna say it depends on the smoothie but I mostly have smoothies with a scoop of whey protein so i was wondering how many calories are in a smoothie? maximum.. any kind of smoothie. for example the maximum calories that a smoothie can have is 300 ???
one scoop of whey protein is 120 cal

Well apparently you do not know how to add.

All whey proteins are different, some are 110-150 calories, and thats only if it’s 100% whey protein. So it just depends on how many calories your smoothie is, you say its 300, so 110-150+300=410-450 calories depending on what whey protein you used.

okay, so I use the wilberry mix, some milk and ice. I use about 1/2 cup 2% milk, and 3-5 0z of the mix. I would count it out myself but i already made my smoothie at the cafe and then went home without checking! Thnx.

Usually you can find the nutrition information on the mix bag/box. 2% milk has 150 calories in it, and ice doesn’t have any calories. Hope this helps a bit.

Go to their corporate website and see if it is posted. It is the sugar which would add calories, and if they use full fat yogurt. Try to find out the ingredients. It might be 500.
