Crazy! Mine works out to about $7 AU Without the raw cashews (the macadamias and almonds are cheaper here). If i make it on a tea base(of adaptogenic herbs) that becomes more expensive but is just so awesome i can only really sip it throughout the day. Generally a litre will last me two days(if i had only one other major meal). If i eat more than that it would stretch out to 3 days. Just have to source a bulk supplier. And atleast i know whats going into my body is organic and always feels good.

Im doing it. :) Have been for a year now actually. You just find a good bulk supplier and everything works pretty synergistically with each other. You get to know the amounts depending on what feels right. In terms of geographical, i eat my dandilions too, but also see myself as more of a planetary kind of a person :)

More like most expensive smoothie ever! Who can afford ALL those things first of all. And second of all, i’m all for a great smoothie, but i’m also of the mind that the body assimilates simple combinations a whole lot better than trying to digest a thousand different things from a thousand different geographical origins all at the same time.. Different enzymes are required to digest different things, and this just seems overkill at best.Just sayin.

kucinich might be shouting wake up america , im shouting wake up the uk , some things are taking b***** ages to change round here , but there is enough good to get us through to the balanced relms , its just a matter of giving up all those silly things that are exhausting and replacing them with simple things

Yes this guy has it going on, but come on rainbows & what ever. Hey in high school we used to smoke a joint and bake crazy ass cookies. This guy went to Thailand or India got really fucked up & now he’s raiding health food stores & having heath nuts bow down. He’s extremely knowlegable but his funky shakes are a little to rub a dub to stylie mon. crazy white man!!!

Who knows how much it really cost? I do not know many people that are willing to pay 900 on smoothies a month. Is every thing Mr.Wolf recommends that expensive? Does he recommend paying 90 dollars a day on food? I do not think that would be logical for most people.

  14. rmsolympic1 on May 27th, 2009 9:45 am

Interesting point: cost. How much? It looks and sounds great, but it also looks expensive. Also, how often would one need to drink/eat this to get the stated health benefits? Once a day, a week, a month? Occaisionally?

i am having a smoothie know, one litre take me one hour!!! It contains wild nettels, organic cucumber, organic cale, some cherry leafes, wild blueberry, 2 small organic bananas. The only thing i bought is the bananas. This wonderful super nutrious smoothie (1 litres) costs me less than 2 dollars and keeps me going almost the whole day.

Enzyme inhibitors are natures way of preventing nuts, seeds and beans from sprouting under less than optimal conditions. When ingested they prevent optimal digestion and can make you sick. Soaking, sprouting and even cooking can deactivate these inhibitors. Chia and hemp don’t have inhibitors so they rock! Soaking nuts and seeds in water with a little food grade h202 for 6 hours is effective for deactivating ihibitors and unlocking their nutritional potential.

  22. Crosisborg on June 13th, 2009 6:48 am

I wish someone would give a good explanation of enzyme inhibitors.

I don’t think you can eat Cacao beans whole…I think you have to shell them to get to the nib..which is the part that you want to eat. As far as why he put the powder in also? I don’t know. And the butter? Not sure but I’m guessing it contains other ingredients or parts of the Cacao plant.
