Throw a bunch of fruit in, add juice and ice. It can be whatever you want. If its a nutritional reason, I’ve had a great spinach and banana smoothie which only needs one banana, some water, and s bunch of fresh spinach.

my mom makes the best smoothies!! no recipe!! we just take all varieties of frozen fruit, and put it in the blender, then add a tad of honey. thats it!!! and its really good. and you dont need ice since the fruit is frozen, which makes it have the icy texture. try it, its easy, and cheaper than most recipes that try really hard. this one is just easy and delicious!! you can add orange juice too! whatever you want!! feel free to email me if you want more of a definite recipe!!

    My favorite:

    3/4 – 1 c vanilla yogurt
    1 banana, peeled
5 medium strawberries, rinsed & hulled
    1/2 c milk
    6-7 ice cubes

Toss everything in a blender, turn it on, and viola.

    Another yum-o recipe:

same as above, but instead of banana and strawberry, toss in pineapple and red or black raspberries.

    And another:

    cantaloupe and blueberries.

    Enjoy!

Edit: I just remembered, I made one last week with Stonyfield Farms Banilla yogurt, Knudsen’s Pineapple Coconut juice, and some ice. OMG yum!

    Try this:
    1 cup of ice
    1 cup of milk
    one whole banana
    3-4 medium sized strawberries

if you are lactose intolerant, try apple juice instead of milk… also, try freezing the fruit before you put it in the blender. (much icier once you blend it up)
You can mix/match fruit, you basically want about 1.5-2 cups of fruit (sounds like a lot, but once it’s pureed, it shrinks in volume)

If you want it, try a packet of splenda or a teaspoon of sugar in it before blending.

basically, a good blender, whatever fruits are on sale, some ripe bananas, a little brown sugar, some cinnamon. Pears and apples are nice—depending on which fruits you use you may have to add water. Peaches, tangarines, pears, plums (with pits removed) I’d say, whatever fruits are cheap and in season…

Your blender is your main appliance here. Any fruit you can blend like bananas, strawberries and add some evaporated milk or half and half, sugar for flavor.

If your not worried about weight.

    Vanilla Ice cream
    Warm brownies
Assorted Toll House chips ( chocolate, peanut butter, ext. )
    Chocolate syrup
    Caramel syrup
    Favorite liquid coffee creamer
    Hot chocolate
    Crush heath bar
Assorted candies (optional) ( m&m, woppers, ext.)
