I like to mix frozen strawberries and pineapple together with some ice and milk. I also just mix frozen pineapple with milk…It makes a light smoothie. I also add a packet of splenda if it is not sweet enough. Good Luck!

Three bananas, some whole milk, some real ice cream, and half an avocado. Grunge it all up for about a minute and a half at full speed and enjoy in a tall glass.

I make them with a banana, a container of whatever flavor yogart, frozen strawberries (or mixed berries), add some OJ, and some ice. Blend it till smooth! I used to drink one every morning. But, I haven’t went to get groceries in a bit. Maybe I should go get some tomorrow…lol.

I also make one with Welch’s berry juice and berry schnapps…blended with ice. But, I don’t know if you were looking for a recipe with alcohol or not. =)

    Both are yummy though!

i don’t drink smoothies normally, cause they actually have as many calories as a candy bar (all that sugar from the fruit), but when i do, i get something tropical, with pineapple, banana & coconut.

My favorites this time of year are a cantelope smoothie or a watermelon smoothie. Both made the same way – add the seeded fruit, a big spoonful of vanilla ice cream, and a little milk. Let it whirr in the blender and enjoy!

On days I work out I make a smoothie for breakfast. It usually has the following (all measurements are approximations):

    1/2 banana
5 strawberries (fresh or frozen, depending what I have)
    10-15 blueberries (fresh or frozen)
4 slices of peach (fresh or frozen)
3-5 chunks of mango (fresh or frozen)
    2-3 tbsp canned crushed pineapple
    2 tbsp natural yogurt
    1 scoop soy protein powder
    1/2-2/3 cup soy milk
    1 tbsp wheat germ
    1 tbsp flax seed oil
    2 tbsp aloe vera juice
    (add ice if desired)

Typically I don’t use all the fruit, I just use what I have/what sounds good that day. This makes at least 2 generous servings… it’s delicious!!
