    i’ll tell you:
    - if you want a thick drink
blend 2 banana’s with one apple (in pieces) and add some milk (if you like some sugar). And then you will have this mix, you should strain it (you don’t want any fruit bits in the drink, if you like you could cut little pieces of banana into it).
the same goes with mangoes and pineapple (the more banana, the more thick it is).
    - blend melons and orange juice with a bit of pineapple = fruit juice!!

Check that out, its got a tonne of reciepes that will definately get you going!

Apple, mangoe, pineapple and orange juice would prob be a good idea. One piece of advice – NEVER use too much bannana. only use a little bit. It has a very dominating flavour and will take over your smoothie lol. Seriously

Oh yeah. You should definately add some kind of yoghurt! Not like the muller corner stuff. Go to tesco and buy some Greek Yoghurt (thats my favourite in a smoothie) or something similar. It will thickent the smoothie and make it taste great! Without yoghurt, a smoothie is more of a juice drink than a smoothie.

strawberries, banana, berries, pear, kiwi mixed in with a cherry flavoured yoghurt yummy, but dont put orange or any citris fruits in that ruins it, well in my opinion,
and melon, ive tried that and it just makes it extremely watery, you want it to taste like a fruit milkshake thats the way to enjoy it

Don’t combine, keep it simple, ensure your fruit is ripe.
    Personally, Mango smoothie or Banana.
Try Mango, Pineapple and Melon for something different.

    Chocolate
    Banana and honey
    Strawberry
    mango
    Heres a good recipie:
Trying to get out the door in the morning and eat a good breakfast is a tough combination, so finding a good smoothie combination to help me is a good idea. Well, I like Grape Nuts cereal and I like to mix it in yogurt and eat it with lunch or for a snack. So why not blend it into a breakfast smoothie? So I did.

    Ingredients:

    1/2 cup Grape Nuts cereal
    1/2 cup vanilla yogurt (low-fat)
    1 cup ice
    1 banana
2 cups juice (orange, apple or whatever you like. I wouldn’t mind trying pineapple in this)
    Blend and feel the energy!

Contrary to what others say, I would go easy on the bananas, they can be too overpowering I think. I think if you add anything like mangoes, pineapples or melons, you will have plenty of sweetness there, so honey is not necessary. Why not add a little twist of lemon to pep up the smoothie?

Also, I really like porridge oats in my smoothy – great energy food and adds to the texture.
