What ingredients would you put in a smoothie to boost one’s energy level & is nutritious?

Category: Smoothie Q&A

My son is a construction worker and I would like to make him a smoothie before he goes to work out in the hot sun all day. Any suggestions?

Thank you all in advance for your answers! I appreciate it.

I know that the vitamin b12 helps boost your energy. You could try to find a fruit with alot of b12, but I would just make a smoothie with what ever fruits he likes and crush up a b12 vitamin tablet and add it to the smoothie. Hope I could help.

    not sugar.

maybe use coconut water and coconut milk base (it replaces electrolytes lost from work) with mangos, papayas, pineapples, (vitamins and minerals) and raw pure organic honey (enzymes and energy).

also try adding some protein powder

B vitamins will boost his energy without a crash and are good for you. Get some B vitamin supplements and crush the pills up in the blender with the smoothie.

Not a body building product, but alot of drugstore chain sell a whey powder, added to a smoothie it will add a bit of protein and increase the energy base of the smoothie, and even a banana is a good energy builder.
