what is the difference between a Smoothie Maker and Blender?

Category: Smoothie Q&A

Currently I have a regular blender, a dry spice grinder and a hand blender….

Do I really need a smoothie maker?

I plan to blend some serious smoothies….should I go for it?

The difference is that the smoothie maker is less sturdy and costs more because it says “Smoothie Maker” on the box.

Just the name… to get you to buy another gadget that you don’t need, because you already have a blender:)
