Would A Smoothie Taste Good If I Used Cottage Cheese To Replace Milk or Yogurt?
Category: Smoothie Q&A
I don’t have any juice, milk, or yogurt, and I’m looking at this cottage cheese thinking it might turn out good in the end, but at the same time I don’t like the taste of cottage cheese. Would the rest of the fruit ingredients mask the taste of the cottage cheese.
The ingredients I have to make a smoothie: peaches, apples, oranges, strawberries, and mixed berries.
Thanks for the help.

well that sounds wierdddd…. if ur into a really yogurt-y taste, i guess it’d be alright….
why not just eat the cottage cheese peaches apples oranges strawberries and mixed berries?
id try making it, but without the ice.
…if you were making it that way. also id avoid the apple and orange if i were experimenting with this.
also cottage cheese is expensive to use like that…
I would be looking to see if you can find any water. I just don’t think I would risk the cottage cheese if you don’t like it. Another option would be to use tofu instead of the milk / yogurt.
E Q. one word, two syllables “NO”.

No. It will be gross.
Just whirl up in a blender your peaches, strawberries, and mixed berries. If they are frozen, even better. If not, add some ice. If you have ice cream, milk or cream, add a splash of that. A banana, if you have one, makes smoothies really smooth.
